Love this spot! Super clean, great vibe, and the drinks are always on point. The caffeine energizer drinks are seriously the best—way better than your average energy drink. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Perfect place to fuel up after/before a workout or grab a healthy bite on the go. Highly recommend!

Heard about The Protein Place from a friend and I am so happy she recommended this place to me! One of the first things I noticed, as I was waiting for my Reese’s Protein Shake, is how clean it is inside! It is spotless! There is a sofa and table and chairs as well. This spot is soo cute! I can’t wait to come back with some friends. They have such a large variety of protein options available, from shakes and bowls to waffles and donuts. My Reese’s shake was delicious and the owner is very kind and helpful! The base of the shakes and bowls are dairy free, which I LOVE. You can choose between Whey and Pea protein.

Love this place! Second time here :) I ordered the Tajin Chamoy energy refresher & it was soooo good. The taste and flavor reminds me of my favorite childhood treat, un raspado! My first visit here, I ordered a Reese’s protein shake & that was also delicious. This is my new favorite spot!! Thank you so much! Never leave!! I hope this place is able to open another spot in Sacramento.

The Protein Place is an absolute gem in town! With a super creative menu of high-protein shakes, waffles, granola bowls, acai bowls, and fruity refreshers, they’ve completely filled a gap in the local food scene. Whether I’m in a healthy mindset or craving something sweet, they always have something for both me and my toddler—which is rare! The space is super clean and welcoming, but the real magic is the owners. They’re incredibly hands-on, responsive to feedback, and clearly care deeply about quality, customer experience, and community. I love that they’re upfront about their ingredients and open about how they build their recipes. Huge shoutout for their customizable options, killer customer service, and just being all-around amazing humans. We seriously needed a place like this around here—and now we have it.

Located in a commercial complex, the place has ample parking and located conveniently on the junction of Greenback Lane and Fairoaks Blvd. The sign board is small and can be easily missed. We got salted caramel protein iced coffee, mocha frappe, Oreo waffles, vanilla cinnamon waffle, chocolate PB bowl and all five tasted delicious. Loved the strong coffee. Limited seating, so ideal for a group of 2-3 to sit and enjoy, otherwise a grab and go place. Definitely a place to check out for people looking for healthy plant based breakfast, snack and beverages.

I found this place by accident. You can get protein, smoothies, açai bowls, and so much more. They have sugar-free donuts. I ordered a snickerdoodle açai bowl and was able to customize it with Pea protein. They also offer whey and soy protein. The staff is super friendly and it has a nice vibe to it with couches and seating area. I learned they have another location in Folsom and are considering opening one in Roseville. You need to check this place out. It’s healthy and delicious.
